Non-contact sexual offences, such as voyeurism, indecent exposure, upskirting, and online harassment are explicitly recognised within the UK Government’s Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy as part of the spectrum of harmful behaviours that disproportionately affect women and girls.

It Does Matter is about more than awareness. It’s a movement for change. It educates communities to recognise and call out unacceptable behaviour. It empowers victims to report easily (and anonymously if preferred). It champions allyship, helping us all protect each other. 

 

Get involved. 

Corporate Organisations & SMEs

You can report anonymously to Crimestoppers, which will forward the information to the appropriate authorities. Alternatively, you can report all relevant information to your local Police Force directly.

It Does Matter provides clear, accessible messaging aligned to policing and community VAWG safety priorities. It encourages victims and witnesses to come forward and helps raise awareness of the seriousness and impact of these crimes. Make it easier for victims and your community to take action.
